The Appeal supports Camp GLOW (God Loves Our World), a week-long residential summer camp for adults with disabilities. Begun by Sr. Justa Walton, I.H.M., in the 1970’s, Camp GLOW has been an annual tradition providing spiritual development and social enhancement to hundreds of camp participants. Camp GLOW is funded entirely through the generosity of the Archbishop's Annual Appeal, parishes, Knights of Columbus Councils, religious and civic organizations, businesses, and individuals.
"The O’Dwyer Retreat House offers our parish an affordable and convenient venue to host our annual Confirmation Retreat. We always make sure our teens know that this facility exists for them. It is a sign of our Church’s investment in the spiritual growth of our future leaders,"
-Father Steven Hook, St. Ursula
The Appeal grants the O'Dwyer Retreat House $25,000 each year to help with these programs.
